Onboarding new users used to be a hard issue. However, at this time, I've found a new and nice way to do it.
The steps were:
- The typical "quick tour" - "no, thanks" was offered to me after sign up
- I clicked on "No, thanks" since I don't want to waste my time
- So they put a nice sidebar listing the issues I should know of the platform (no invasive at all, since I can collapse it)
- They are dashing all the ítems I do in this kind of "to-do list", and they are providing me a direct link to support in case I have problems
I think it's a brilliant way to ensure that users learn about the product :)
I really hope you find it as cool as I did.
Thank you very much for your idea!
It's really interesting and we will, definitely, going to consider it for the improvement of our marketplaces.
Thanks again! :)
